Ryan Wallace is currently coaching Men's, Women's and Youth Lacrosse in Cologne, Germany. He is also an International Referee for Box and Field Lacrosse in Europe. He will coach, ref, or play almost anywhere in the world for food and housing.
This weekend is a big one for European Lacrosse. No less than Six Playoff or National Championships are taking place: ze Germans have Playoffs, the Dutch, Swiss, Swedish and Baltic Lacrosse Leagues have Championships. Plus Bluesfest.
A small piece of lacrosse history was made a couple weekends ago. The most northerly lacrosse games in history took place in Tromso, Norway for the Norwegian Universities Student Games. Men’s and women’s university clubs from all over the country came together for an annual weekend tournament.
What should we do after the World Championships are over? I had the extreme good fortune to have some free time before the start of Fall Ball, and I had a wedding in California to get to. So I hit the road for two weeks to see some of this great country, joined by my good friend James “Jimmy” Richardson.
