Lacrosse Gloves

Gloves are a protection-versus-mobility trade. Attackmen and midfielders favor segmented, flexible cuffs and thinner palms for stick feel; defensemen take the bulkier build for the checks they absorb. Palm material is the usual failure point — thin synthetic palms give the best feel and wear out fastest, and almost no palm survives a season of wet play without thinning.
