Lacrosse Helmets

Helmets are the one category where certification, not preference, sets the floor: men's field lacrosse requires a NOCSAE-certified helmet, and recertification schedules matter for program purchases. Above that floor the differences are fit system, ventilation, weight, and mask shape. Fit is not a style question — a helmet that moves on the head is not doing its job regardless of its rating.
