Lacrosse Pumpkin Carving Contest

Happy pre-Halloween weekend everyone! We’ve decided to join the pumpkin carving movement and create a contest of our own in the lacrosse community. The contest is for anyone that plays lacrosse! We created it with a goal in mind that you can carve whatever you want, there’s only one catch, it must have something to do with lacrosse. Here are some ideas; you can carve your team name/logo, whether it’s grade school, middle school, high school, college, post-college, club, or pro. You can carve a lacrosse stick, a lacrosse ball, or you can make a Lacrosse All-Stars pumpkin. This makes for a great team activity, a date or just fun with your friends/family.

The rules are simple:

  1.  Carve your design onto a pumpkin
  2.  Take a photo with your pumpkin
  3.  Send the photo to our social media DM’s or [email protected]

If you follow these three simple rules, you will be featured in our pumpkin carving contest video on Halloween!

Here’s our pumpkin:

“Now it’s not my best work, my hands were a bit jittery from the green tea I had prior to the carve, but there’s no room for excuses here. So I decided to call in a carving professional to finish the job. Turned out looking better than if I had finished it. I am proud that I attempted a carve this year because it gave me that old fall feeling we all know and love. It was a blast from the past and my hands feel a bit softer today.” – Brian

(Rumor has it that carving a pumpkin is proven to make your skin softer. I know my hands could use a little softening, so for any of you looking to get one more in this week, I highly recommend you try it.)

Best of luck to you and your pumpkin carving skills! You will help grow the game one pumpkin at a time this week.
