The New York Lizards defeated the Dallas Rattlers 13-9 during Week 5 of the Major League Lacrosse season, and we’ve got New York Lizards post-game coverage for you including a Kevin Crowley post-game interview and top plays from John Daniggelis, Rob Pannell and Ryan Walsh.
Rob Pannell scored two goals including the go-ahead tally in the third quarter that snapped an 8-8 tie as the Lizards picked up their first win of the season. Dylan Molloy and Ryan Walsh each had a hat trick for the Lizards who improve to 1-4.
First, let’s see a post-game reaction from Kevin Crowley.
Kevin Crowley: New York Lizards Post-Game Reaction
Top 3 Plays From New York Lizards – Dallas Rattlers
3. Goal by John Daniggelis
Top plays from this game included a goal from John Daniggelis as he swept right-handed across near the two-point line to bury one for the Lizards.
2. Pannell To Crowley
This is so classic Rob Pannell. Pannell is lethal around the crease, and proves why here as he dodges to draw the slide and find Kevin Crowley on the backside. Pannell has perfected his craft and is certainly one of the top players in the MLL, considering he lead the league in scoring last year with 43 goals and 35 assists.
1. Ryan Walsh: Makin’ Moves and Getting Paid
Ryan Walsh is out here making defenders look stupid. Walsh shows some dazzling moves on the wing in order to shake two defenders and get his hands free for the shot and goal. You go, Ryan Walsh!
We’d like to thank Major League Lacrosse for sending the footage out to us to repost. We’re excited about the possibility of two leagues coexisting here at Lacrosse All Stars, as it is good for the game and good for the players.
Here’s what our publisher Connor Wilson had to say about the existence of two leagues:
If the PLL and MLL both survive and thrive, it would mean more players could get paid to play the game they love, more fans could watch more games, and the game has more opportunity to reach more new fans.
I for one wish both leagues the best and I’ve enjoyed following both.

Stay tuned for more coverage of both leagues.
