Editor’s Note: Each week, LAS Contributors will be submitting their own personal NLL Power Rankings based on that past week’s games. This is a compilation of those picks.
This week saw the only undefeated left in the league drop not one, but two games, and to divisional foes. Georgia couldn’t overcome the Rock or Black Wolves, and it cost them the most, falling three spots in our rankings. The biggest jump was Toronto, due in no small part to their excellent performance against Georgia.
This week, there are two groups of teams. The top six, and the bottom five. San Diego’s two wins are making some of our crew real believers. But for everyone else, the first place votes are spread around, so the margins are small from spot to spot. No one team fell in the same spot across all the ballots, with Buffalo seeing the most variability.
This week could see some big changes. Georgia has to get off their skid against the Rush and Buffalo has two road games, which could both be a problem. Vancouver and Colorado are fighting to avoid the western basement, and Philly is still searching for win number one with Toronto coming to town. It will be a great weekend of games!
