Pat Spencer is one of the all-time greatest lacrosse players to have played the collegiate game. He ranks third all-time for points in a career and was the No. 1 overall draft pick by the Premier Lacrosse League, going to the already offensively-stacked Archers. Spencer was also the No. 7 pick in the Major League Lacrosse collegiate draft, who went to the Chesapeake Bayhawks. The lacrosse world will have to wait a year to find out what Spencer will decide to do about playing professional lacrosse.
Spencer also won the 2019 Tewaaraton Award after having been a finalist the previous two years. You can view the award ceremony again via our Twitter page below.

Five players have transferred from the Northwestern basketball program over the last two seasons, leaving six returnees and three incoming freshman to the program. Spencer will be a scholarship player, according to the Chicago Tribune, and should provide leadership and a winning attitude to the program after his success on the lacrosse field.
Spencer was a two-year member of the varsity basketball team at Boys’ Latin School where he earned All-State recognition.
Spencer was also named second team All-Metro by The Baltimore Sun after averaging 14.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists.
