Polocrosse: Lacrosse on Horseback…

Some say Polocrosse is the most relaxed horse sport. To us, it just looks like a whole lot of fun! As you may have assumed, the game is indeed a mix of polo and lacrosse:

Polocrosse is a team sport that is played all over the world. It is a combination of polo and lacrosse. It is played outside, on a field (the pitch), on horseback. Each rider uses a cane or fibreglass stick to which is attached a racquet head with a loose, thread net, in which the ball is carried.

Apparently team consists of six players divided into two sections of three. Each section plays alternate periods of time called “chukkas”. Here’s a field diagram for reference:
