Our first guest is the 2016 NLL Defender of the Year, Ryan Dilks of the Saskatchewan Rush and St. Albert Miners. After taking a year off from the NLL due to firefighting training, Ryan leads the NLL in caused turnovers. We talk about the balance between lacrosse and the work of being a firefighter, his ability to anticipate the play and what it was like to come into the NLL as a 5th round pick.
Our second guest is Joel McCready of the Vancouver Warriors and New Westminster Salmonbellies. After a crucial overtime win in Rochester on Sunday that saw the Warriors catapult into second place in the west, we talk about what has changed in Vancouver over the last few years and overcoming an Achilles injury.
