Shawn Evans Traded To Rattlers From Cannons

The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL) have traded Attackman Shawn Evans to the Dallas Rattlers. The Cannons will receive a 2020 Third Round MLL Draft Pick from Dallas in the trade. The MLL made this trade official at noon today.

Evans, 33, is a four-year veteran of the MLL. In his MLL career, Evans has played in seven career games due to his NLL obligations, and has posted 14 goals and 11 assists. Evans played in two games for the Boston Cannons, scoring one goal and adding 2 assists.

Shawn Evans was drafted by the Chesapeake Bayhawks in the sixth round of the 2017 Supplemental Draft. In 2018, he played three games for the Denver Outlaws, recording five goals and six assists before being added by the Ohio Machine late in the season. Evans was then selected during the 2019 Relocation Draft by the Cannons during the 2019 offseason.

The Cannons battle the Atlanta Blaze on Saturday, July 20th at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy, MA. Tickets can be purchased on or by calling (617) 746-9933.
