Ladies and gentlemen, once again, it’s on. It’s time for the 2014 Major League Lacrosse season to begin. Which team will end up in Atlanta four months from now, hoisting the Steinfeld Cup and doing the Nae Nae or whatever it is they’re doing in Atlanta four months from now? No idea whatsoever, but it’s time to find out, so let’s start things off with a team-by-team season preview.

MLL Supplemental Draft – Names & Grades

Below you can find each Major League Lacrosse franchise’s supplemental draft picks for 2013. The biggest names in the game might not be involved in this draft, but this is where teams fill holes and build strong foundations. So pay attention… it’s important!

MLL Announces 23-Man Rosters

Major League Lacrosse has announced that every team in the league has submitted its 23-Man Protected Roster for 2014. The MLL also sent out the rosters for the 8 teams. Teams are granted a 40-man roster leading into the season, and they can fill those remaining 17 spots with supplemental draft picks, college draft picks, and trades, before the start of the 2014 campaign.

After years of injury recovery, UVA alum Ken Clausen returned to the playing field for the Denver Outlaws as they scrimmaged the Denver University Pioneers last weekend at the Colorado Lacrosse Showcase. His teammate, Mack Bocklet, gave him a shout out on Twitter for the successful return. Clausen is also the co-founder of Lacrosse Mustache Madness, a fundraising campaign for the HEADstrong Foundation, which helps families affected by blood cancers.

This past weekend the Denver University Pioneers’ men’s lacrosse team faced off against the Denver Outlaws in a fall exhibition know as the Colorado Lacrosse Showcase. The current NCAA D1 powerhouse of the west squared off against their more experienced city mates from the MLL and came out on top 10-5.
