Trevor Baptiste: His Recruiting Story, Perspective, and a Focus on Competing

Editor’s note: Please welcome GameChanger (and Trevor Baptiste!) back to LaxAllStars! GameChanger has developed an amazing new app called Team Manager, which we encourage every lacrosse team administrator to try. The folks at GC love lacrosse, and we’re pumped to have them on board as our partner. We hope you enjoy their podcast!

At this point, Trevor needs no introduction. Anyone who’s a lacrosse fan knows who he is. He’s a graduate of Denver University. A four-time All-American at the Face-off X. The Big East Midfielder of the Year as a sophomore. He was a two time Tewaraaton trophy finalist.

He currently plays in the MLL for the Boston Cannons, and is competed in July for team USA in Israel.

I’ve never met Trevor in person but his passion for the sport come across when you talk to him. In this interview we got a chance to talk about how he was recruited to play for Denver, what he focuses on throughout the season, his workout routine on the field and in the gym – and much more.

Be sure to follow us on twitter, @GCSports. And, if you’re a coach, a parent or you run a travel or club team, check out GameChanger Team Manager in the app store.
