The King Of Custom Epoch Shafts

Throne of String epoch custom shaft

We saw the new Throne of String custom Epoch Shafts, and were immediately jealous. Epoch is a partner of ours, so they gave us a sneak peek, and it immediately caught my eye. The custom shaft program from Epoch Lacrosse allows teams and brands alike to get their logo and name stamped on a set of Epoch Dragonfly shafts, and we think this program has really bright future, especially now that we’ve seen what can be done.

Wednesday NCAA Tournament Action Recap

Air force lacrosse

Yesterday, the NCAA tournament kicked off with play-in games for the D1 bracket, and first round action going down in men’s D3 lacrosse. We’ll run down the results, provide video where we can, and talk about the big match ups in the next round.

Throwback Thursday: USA Vs Canada 1998

USA vs Canada men's lacrosse

In honor of Canada naming their 24-man roster, we’re showing off what many people believe to be the greatest lacrosse game of all-time: USA vs Canada in 1998. Both the US and Canada were absolutely loaded with talent.

The Best Box Lacrosse Video: Ales Hrebesky Memorial

2014 Ales Hrebesky Video

We have been pumping out videos from the Ales Hrebesky Memorial international box lacrosse tournament, and this is definitely the best one we’ve done yet! This video features just one game, but it was the big game, so that’s all that matters. Epic finals video between the Kahnawake Rapids and the Green Gaels! It almost makes you feel like you’re right there watching!

Lacrosse All Stars Reinforced 6 Box Traditional Pocket

You can find the #TraditionalThursday contest winner at the bottom of the post, and in between, enjoy a little traditional lacrosse stringing action where we offer up a weird pocket, answer reader questions, drop a new contest and offer a new prize!

LXM PRO Players In Major League Lacrosse

Kyle Harrison LXM PRO 801

When it was announced that the LXM PRO and the MLL would partner up, and that players from both camps could now play in both leagues, there was a lot of talk of who could “make the jump” to Major League Lacrosse. A range of opinions were offered as analysts tried to decide who could cut the mustard, and guesses ranged from up to 6 players to as many as 20.

Welcome To D3: Coast Guard Academy Lacrosse, Part 1

Coast Guard PCLL Champions lacrosse

The United States Coast Guard Academy, located in New London, CT, will be transitioning from MCLA D2 to NCAA D3 in 2015. The USCGA lacrosse program has a long history of success, but this current group is taking things to the next level, both on the field and off of it. The USCGA is the smallest US service academy, and we’re thrilled to have them playing D3 lacrosse next year!

College Lacrosse Video Explosion: Was This Hit Legal?

We will open things up with a buddy pass that turned into a vicious hit. But was it LEGAL? We’re interested to hear what you guys think. Then we move on to college lacrosse game highlights, and we have a ton of them! All the best footage, from all the big games, all in one place. Just what you need for a Tuesday in May!

EPIC Ales Hrebesky Video From Throne of String

I brought Joe Williams of Throne of String to Prague for the 2014 Ales Hrebesky Memorial for two reasons: 1) he’s an awesome guy, good friend, and greasy box lacrosse player. 2) He makes videos the likes of which I want to someday make, and I knew he’d deliver with an insane Praha Experience video.

Is This NCAA Lacrosse Tournament Field Serious?

In the spirit of “Is this D1 lacrosse poll serious?”, I’ll be taking a look at the NCAA D1 Lacrosse Tournament teams and asking whether or not they were ranked correctly. Was Duke really deserving of the #1 seed? Should a non-AQ Ivy team really have made it in to the tourney over Hofstra? Let’s take a look and see if this selection group is serious!

Lacrosse In PRAHA Video

Gait Lacrosse took care of us and helped us get over to Prague for the Ales Hrebesky Memorial international box lacrosse tournament, and while the vast majority of my time was spent watching, filming, and playing box lacrosse, I also got out to see Prague for almost a full day. Joe Williams from Throne of String was with me the whole time, taping my silliness, and we put together a quick video showing off a day in the City.

Photos & GIFs: Loyola Lacrosse Beats Hopkins

The Loyola vs Johns Hopkins rivalry game can no longer be called the “Charles Street Massacre” by anyone in good conscience… it’s simply the “Battle of Charles Street” now, and this battle for Baltimore dominance is only getting better! We’ve got photos, GIFs, and video from this great college lacrosse rivalry game!
