I'm coaching at an instructional lacrosse camp in New York City this week and next, and it's serving as a great reminder as to why instructional camps are so important, and why I like them so much.
The Chesapeake Bayhawks got back on the winning track with a big 16-15 win over the visiting Boston Cannons this past weekend, and Craig Chase was there snapping superb photos for our viewing pleasure. Not a bad deal! This is Boston's 4th loss of the season (they now sit at 3-4), and each of these losses has come by single goal.
Kyle Harrison has always had a case of the shakes. From playing basketball in high school to lacrosse at Johns Hopkins, K18 struck fear in opponents with his shiftiness and ability to use both hands, if needed. Kyle is a righty, but you have to respect his left, as it is deadly, and when he combines this with a good burst of speed and hard shot, he can be un-guardable.
Other than the USA, Canada Lacrosse is the only national program to ever claim an FIL World Championship. Canada won titles in 1978 and 2006, and has never finished outside of the Top 3. In 1967, 1982, and 1994 Canada finished third, behind Australia.
