Sam Bradman (7g, 1a) earned MVP honors at last weekend’s LXM 702 event in Las Vegas, leading Team STX to a 22-20 victory over Team Sole. Connor predicted that STX would win by 3, which was close, but his 15-12 scoreline got surpassed pretty quickly.
Eight points sounds like a lot, but the stat line alone doesn’t do it justice. These weren’t seven ordinary goals, and it definitely wasn’t an ordinary assist. Take a look at Bradman’s highlight reel, put together by The Lacrosse Network.
How many times did you say “hold on, wait one darn minute” and rewind the clip to make some sense of that feed, ultimately giving up and telling yourself you can’t sit around watching an assist all day and you have to go on living your life? I stopped at eight.
Bradman’s seven goals are a new LXM record. If anybody’s going to break that mark during this tour, STX and Sole will meet for the first time in 2013 on January 5-6 in Del Mar, California.
