Video: High Point Beats St. Joseph’s 9-7

High Point suffered two road losses to Delaware (10-3) and Towson (11-8) but got back on track this past weekend with a home opener win over St. Joseph’s. The Panthers won the game 9-7 over the visiting Hawks after going up 5-1 in the second quarter, and taking a 6-3 lead into halftime.

The NCAA D1 season is now underway! During the first couple of weeks of lacrosse season we’ll be finishing up the Alphabetical 2014 NCAA D1 Previews! Like last year, we are going through all of the D1 men’s teams for 2014 (there are 67 this year!) and we are now moving on to the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, located in Philadelphia, PA.

Size, Speed, Skill: Jason Kelly ’14

The production value of the video above doesn’t hurt, but what’s really good about it is the skill on display from attackman Jason Kelly of Salesianum Lacrosse. He’s got a strong left hand, good size, and a nice ability to parlay that size, speed, strength, and skill into tons of solid scoring chances. He also buries the ball pretty well, and finds open teammates nicely.
