NCIS Lacrosse Spotting

This week’s spotting comes via the tip line from reader Sergey Baklykov, who spotted this boy holding a lacrosse stick in the TV show NCIS. The spotting is of the 200th episode of the show NCIS, which occurred on the Episode 14 of Season 9. The show is now on its 11th season.

When To Get New Mesh

Forum Friday

An interesting question has popped up in the Forums, although the post itself doesn’t pose the same question as the title of the post. The title of the post is “How do you know when you need new mesh?”

USAMLAX Roster Cut to 52 – How My Roster Prediction Fared

US Lacrosse announced today the 52-man roster for the US Men’s National team that will compete in the World Championships next summer in Denver. Originally slated to have 46 players, this first cut keeps 10 attackmen, 13 midfielders, 14 long poles, 7 short-stick defensive midfielders, 4 goalies, and 4 face-off men. The final 23-man roster will be announced after various fall and winter events.

Brine Hotshot Game UPDATE

Brine Hotshot

Brine has responded to the criticisms I, and others, have put forth about their new mobile game, Hotshot, in the best possible way: with an update designed specifically to address those criticisms. I’ve spent a week playing the new update, and am ready to re-review the game.

Drew Adams

Spotted: Lacrosse Stick in Nickelodeon’s “Sam & Cat”

Sam & Cat, Nickelodeon

Earlier this month reader Carlos Cruz-Perez hit up the tipline with this spotting from Nicelodeon TV show Sam & Cat. Unfortunately the YouTube video he sent us was taken down, but I was able to grab a screenshot before that happened.

My USAMLAX Roster Prediction

USA Lacrosse

Picking the US Men’s National team is a difficult task, and one that I don’t pretend to have all the answers to. Remember, this isn’t about building an All-Star “Team” – this is about putting together a TEAM. Team USA. So without further ado, my prediction for the USAMLAX roster.

Best of Summer Shots!

Forum Friday

The Summer is winding down. It’s sad, but it also means Fall Ball is right around the corner and before we know it the Spring, and lacrosse season, will be here again. Before Summer is completely in the rearview mirror, we want to see your best summer photos.

Tweet of the Week: MLL Championship Edition

Tweet of the Week

Since it was just MLL Championship Weekend, and my favorite team, the Chesapeake Bayhawks, were crowned champs for the second consecutive season and fifth overall (some would call that a dynasty), I’m allowing two tweets for this week’s Tweet of the Week. And what do they teach us? No one passes like the Hawks, and heroes are remembered, but old man legends never die.
