Spotted: Native American Lacrosse in Hell on Wheels
Bonus spotting! We’re bringing you a second spotting today because our own Connor Wilson found this awesome clip from the AMC television show Hell on Wheels. The show, described on its website as a depiction of “the traveling town known as Hell on Wheels, a dangerous, raucous, lawless melting pot that follows and services the construction of the first transcontinental railroad,” find its protagonist in a game of “stick ball” with Native Americans in this episode from season three.

If they don’t deserve photo of the week honors, I don’t know who does. HEADstrong Partners with Smartlink for “Shot Towards Success” Contest at MLL Championship Weekend
Major League Lacrosse and Smartlink announced today an interactive fan contest in partnership with the HEADstrong Foundation. The contest, entitled “Shot Towards Success,” will allow fans in attendance during Sunday’s title match at MLL Championship Weekend presented by Smartlink a chance to win monetary prizes for both themselves and for HEADstrong.
