Loyola: Undefeated In Patriot League Play

Loyola entered the Patriot League this year, and in their first season of conference play, they finished with a perfect 8-0 regular season record. They now get a bye to the semifinals, which they will also get to host next weekend at the Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore.

2013 Ales Hrebesky: LCC Radotin Vs Ladner

Here is a short video that shows off the level of play and styles of lacrosse that meet in Radotin (in the Czech Republic) for the annual box lacrosse tournament known as the Ales Hrebesky Memorial! Weekend Watch List: ALL The Lacrosse Action

This weekend, we will all be treated to some serious lacrosse action, and it comes in a number of different forms. Throwback Thursday: When Stevenson Was Villa Julie

Stevenson lacrosse

If you’re not amped up for the Stevenson – Salisbury game this weekend, you’ve clearly got huge problems. It’s going to an absolute throw down. I guarantee it! To compliment this week’s Hot Pot, which explains Stevenson’s rise and the greatest burgeoning rivalry in D3, I thought it would be interesting to see Stevenson’s change over the years, in video format.

Video: The Thompsons Being Thompson

Lyle Thompson scored 9 goals

Albany took down Stony Brook 17-7 this week, and the Thompsons were back to their old tricks, scoring at will, and making the rest of us look like average lacrosse players. This win was huge for Albany because it wrapped up an America East tourney bid for the Danes (they are 3-0 in conference).

Hot Pot: Biggest Game Of The Week

Normally you’ve got some monster D1 match up, and it more than qualifies as the best game of the weekend, but this weekend? This weekend is different, and there is a different college level of lacrosse you need to watch.

There were so many lacrosse games on TV this weekend, my DVR almost couldn’t handle it. In case your DVR didn’t cut the mustard, we’ve culled the internet for great college lacrosse videos, and put them all in one place, for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Is This D1 Lacrosse Poll Serious?

While I can admit polls aren’t going anywhere, I can also acknowledge that they are massively flawed, and really only good for one thing: sports commentators blowing hot air about how to rank teams based on games that have yet to be played!
