An epic Division 3 National Championship highlight video created by Edward Martin dropped 2 days ago (A MUST FOLLOW @eddiem22_). While the Amherst Mammoths were able to compete the entire game, Cabrini came out on top 16-12. This was their first time taking home a National Championship and they were able to do it in their hometown in front of an absolutely huge crowd of friends and family. You could feel the energy in the air as the Cabrini fans were roaring and hungry for the trophy. Give this fantastic video a watch and see the story unfold.
How good was that game? It seems like the D3 title game delivers year after year in terms of providing a great game for fans, and for at least the last two years, the winning team has definitely enjoyed the benefit of a huge, supportive crowd. In a huge game it looks like a big fan base can make a big difference! Kind of makes you wonder what all the Amherst fans were doing that weekend instead! Maybe 2020 is their year.
Cabrini loses a lot of talent from this team to graduation, but this has been a long build for the Cavs, so a total drop off would be very unrealistic. Shoot, now we’re all excited for NCAA D3 lacrosse to kick off again.
Now feast your eyes on some more of Edward Martin’s highlight videos. We love the work he’s doing, the games he’s filming, and how he’s throwing it all together. These are piping hot with goodness. Go check him out!
