Callum Crawford, Bruce Urban: Lacrosse Classified, Ep. 8

In this episode, Jake and Evan recap all five games from a crazy Week 3 in the NLL. Jake then chats with Pure Vita Labs sponsored player Callum Crawford of the New England Black Wolves, who is certainly more than a role player, he’s the main catalyst of the Black Wolves offense. Callum has played for eight different teams in his 14 NLL seasons, including Calgary, San Jose, Edmonton, Minnesota, Colorado, Buffalo and New England. He currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he coached a high school lacrosse development program.

Bruce Urban has been the owner of the Edmonton/Saskatchewan Rush since their inception in 2005. A passionate lacrosse fan, Bruce saw the excitement of an NLL game when the Roughnecks came to Calgary and was instantly sold on the potential the league had to offer. After winning their first title in 2015 in Edmonton, Bruce was forced to move his team to Saskatoon due to the inability to secure a long term arena lease in Edmonton. Since the mice, the Saskatchewan Rush have become the class of the NLL both on the floor with two more titles, but also off the floor as the team with the highest attendance in the league and the most profitable team in the league. All of this despite playing in the smallest market in the league in Saskatoon, with a population of just 270,000.

Finally, we end the year with our predictions for Week 4 and a very “big” announcement.
