When we announced the First Annual Grow The Game Award, we also mentioned that we would be continuing to showcase the Grow The Game mission by featuring a “Game Grower of the Month” each month throughout the year. We named a February 2012 Game Grower, then we took a brief hiatus to get our ducks in a row. Now we’re very excited to get this award series under way!
Today, we are pleased to announce that Easton Lacrosse has stepped in to sponsor the Game Grower of the Month award series. We established this series to recognize outstanding individuals who dedicate their time and energy to expanding the footprint of the game of lacrosse, all while building up a community of players, coaches, and fans around them. Easton Lacrosse believes in our vision and we are thrilled to have them on board to help facilitate it.
This month’s winner, and each month’s subsequent winner, will receive an Easton Prize Pack as a reward for the hard work they’ve put in to grow our sport. Each recipient will also be automatically entered into the 2012 GTG Award finalist field.

More about the GTG Award
During a period of time in which we’ve seen the accelerated growth of lacrosse both in the United States and across the world, we believe there is a real need for rewarding the efforts of true game growers. Lacrosse has been growing in participation for the past decade and the GTG Award is meant to celebrate people who are making it happen while maintaining principles that improve local communities both on and off the playing field.
Integrity, leadership, service, and community are core to the mission of LaxAllStars.com, and it is our hope that the GTG Award will inspire others to give back by recognizing those that already do!
Welcome aboard Easton!
