NESCAC Lacrosse 2012 - Tufts Vs. Amherst
Can Tufts make it three finals in a row?

The NESCAC is the deepest conference in all of college lacrosse.  From the top (Tufts) to the bottom (Williams), every conference game is tough, and the ‘cac is still the only conference in all of D3 to ever have to two national champions emerge (Middlebury and Tufts).  What’s even more interesting is that neither of the NESCAC Head Coaches who have won national championships ever played lacrosse.  Erin Quinn of Middlebury was a football guy, and Mike Daly of Tufts played baseball in college!

Below you can find a number of great photos from the 2012 NESCAC season.  These are some of the oldest DIII Schools in the country, and their game attire is fresh.  Not only that, but they play some excellent lacrosse!

The NESCAC is looking tough as ever this year, and who knows what will happen in the conference tournament.  Tufts, Trinity, Bowdoin, Wesleyan, Colby and even some others can all be considered contenders.  Who’s going to win the most competitive conference in all of college lax?

For more on the NESCAC, check out the conference’s website.

Thanks to Mitch Liebermann (Wesleyan), Tufts Lacrosse and Caroline Abbott (Conn) for the great college lacrosse game photos!
