Joe Resetarits Gets Franchise Tag From Black Wolves

The New England Black Wolves announced today that Joe Resetarits has accepted the teams franchise designation for the 2019-20 NLL season.

Per team policy, no terms were released.

“We are extremely excited to have Joe accept our franchise offer and to have him remain a member of the Pack,” Black Wolves general manager Rich Lisk said. “When we traded for Joe it wasn’t just for the rest of the season. We had Joe in our sights for a long time and this is a long-term play for the Black Wolves. His athleticism, shooting ability and lacrosse IQ are second to none on the field and we also value his professionalism and leadership off the turf.”

Acquired in a trade with the Rochester Knighthawks on March 6, the 5-foot-11 forward had 24 points on 13 goals and 11 assists in seven games for New England last season. For his career, he has 390 points on 162 goals and 228 assists. A second team NLL All-Pro member following the 2017-18 season, Joe Resetarits had 100 points that year, becoming the first US born player to reach that milestone in league history.
