According to a news report from ABC2News in Baltimore, a company called Brain Sentry has created a lacrosse helmet impact sensor that detects hard hits to help coaches identify players that should be assessed for a concussion. Brain Sentry was onsite at the US Lacrosse Convention providing demonstrations on how the impact sensor works with a lacrosse helmet.
