Over the last few weeks, parts of Europe have seen intense flooding, and the home of the Ales Hrebesky Memorial (the greatest box lacrosse tournament in Europe) is no exception. Josh Potter joins LAS to tell his Radotin story, and to provide an avenue to assist the wonderful people of this small Czech town.

Lacrosse Club Custodes Radotin win their eighth consecutive Czech National Box Lacrosse League title in 2013 over SK Lacrosse Jizni Mesto. It took a decisive third game to settle the final score!

We've covered the 2013 Ales Hrebesky Memorial quite nicely this week, with up to date posts featuring First Photos, the Quarterfinals, the All-Star Game (with photos), as well as LCC Radotin's triumph in the finals. This coming week, we'll be back with some great highlights, and tons of photos. For now, it's time to talk about the overall tournament, and how 2013 was certainly a year for the record books.

One of the many annual highlights of the Ales Hrebesky Memorial box lacrosse tournament, going on RIGHT NOW in the Czech Republic, is the All-Star game. Players from each of the non-Czech teams are selected to represent the tourney All-Star team, and they play the Czech national team, which is obviously comprised of players from the Czech club teams.

This edition of the prestigious “Ales Hrebesky Memorial” (AHM) is extra special because it is the 20th anniversary of the international box-lacrosse tournament. 20 teams from 13 different countries will be featured in beautiful Prague, Czech Republic from April 24-27.
