Miles Thompson made his Major League Lacrosse debut for the Rochester Rattlers this past weekend, and the 2014 Tewaaraton winner (along with his younger brother, Lyle) got going right away in MLL play, with a hockey assist on the first goal of his first game. As a goalie, there is nothing worse than a crank shot from 5 yards away... the second least favorite shot for most keepers has to be the long pole bomb. You never know where it's going, the angles are different, and half the time the poles don't even know where the ball is going. It makes for exciting lacrosse, and can be a momentum changing play.

Kevin Leveille currently has 261 goals in his Major League Lacrosse career. The all-time leading MLL goal scorer is Tim Goettelmann, who currently has 270 goals.
