Richmond Spiders Impress Many in First Year of D1

For the Richmond Spiders, all expectations were exceeded. It was fitting for the Spiders, as a new program, to join the Atlantic Sun Conference. The A-Sun is new to lacrosse this year, and the winner receives an automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Magical MLAX Ride Ends At Air Force, 13-5 (Richmond)

Five different Spiders scored goals as the inaugural men’s lacrosse season came to an end in the NCAA Tournament with a 13-5 loss at Air Force Wednesday night. Richmond finishes at 6-11 with an NCAA Tournament appearance to show for their efforts. Air Force improves to 11-5 and advances to face top-seeded Duke Sunday. Despite the overall record, Richmond ended the season with five wins in its last nine games and six wins in the last 12.

Early Thoughts On The NCAA D1 Lacrosse Season

The D1 NCAA Lacrosse season is well underway, and every single D1 program has played at least one game. Some teams have played as many as four games already, and we’ve got a couple of undefeated squads looking strong early. It’s time to run through the D1 scene and see where things stand.

The NCAA D1 season is now underway! During the first couple of weeks of lacrosse season we’ll be finishing up the Alphabetical 2014 NCAA D1 Previews! We are going through all of the D1 men’s teams for 2014 (there are 67 this year!) and we are now moving on to the brand new Richmond Spiders, located in Richmond, VA.
