Virginia – Drexel Video Highlights
The Virginia Cavaliers men’s lacrosse team won their third game of the year (in their third one goal game of the year), topping Drexel 11-10. It’s hard to call a team battle tested this early in the year, but if anyone has the right to do so, it’s UVA.
Alphabetical 2014 NCAA D1 Preview: Yale
After winning the Ivy League and defeating Penn State in the first round of last year’s tournament, the Yale Bulldogs will be just as dangerous in 2014 as they were last year.
Alphabetical 2014 NCAA D1 Preview: Wagner
Matt Poskay took over the Seahawks program in 2012, but Wagner has not seen a lot of improvement in the wins department as the program is 2-25 in those two seasons. To be fair, Wagner had only won two games total in the six years before that, so maybe it was actually a huge improvement.

The NCAA D1 season is now well underway, and it’s only February. Instead of previewing these last few teams, we’ll talk about their 2014 seasons so far, assuming they’ve played games… We narrow down the alphabetical list with the Virginia Cavaliers, located in Charlottesville, VA. The Cavs are 3-0 right now, and each of their games have been decided by one goal. It’s clearly going to be a tight year for UVA.
Game Photos: Notre Dame Dominates Jacksonville
Notre Dame took on Jacksonville down in Florida last night for the Moe’s Southwest Grill Classic, and the Irish put an absolute beat down on Jacksonville. Notre Dame went up big early and cruised to a 19-7 win with plenty of players seeing time.
Game Photos: UMass Knocks Off No. 9 Ohio State
A young UMass Minutemen squad took down #9 Ohio State in Jacksonville, Florida last night and our main man, Tommy Gilligan, was on the scene snapping photos. UMass looked tough from the first minute and when OSU made a run to tie things up in the fourth quarter, UMass showed some solid composure, eventually winning 12-11 in OT.
The D3 Lacrosse Report: Hello Spring?
It’s February 17th, and that means the NESCAC has been practicing for two days now. It’s high time we got the D3 Report going again for 2014! Some teams are playing games, many more are still scrimmaging, and the big time action is just around the corner. Time to see where everyone is sitting at the table!
College Lacrosse Video Explosion
Hopefully you’ve seen the video and photos from Loyola vs Penn State and High Point vs St. Joseph’s already… to add to that, we’ve searched the internet high and low for college lacrosse videos. Here they are in no particular order because they’re all pretty awesome.
Loyola Beats Penn State 12-11
Nikko Pontrello scored his third goal of the game only 19 seconds into OT to win the game for Loyola on an unassisted low dodge from behind. 12-11 win for Loyola in OT. We’ve got a game winning lacrosse GIF!
Video: High Point Beats St. Joseph’s 9-7
High Point suffered two road losses to Delaware (10-3) and Towson (11-8) but got back on track this past weekend with a home opener win over St. Joseph’s. The Panthers won the game 9-7 over the visiting Hawks after going up 5-1 in the second quarter, and taking a 6-3 lead into halftime.
