Maine Video: Wooden Sticks & Shooting Skeet

wooden lacrosse sticks

I made my way up to Maine for Thanksgiving and got to see plenty of family and friends. Everyone enjoyed a grand old time, as we celebrated and remembered together. My uncle Dennis bought a wooden stick for me on his drive from Vermont (what a guy!) and I took out the busted old pocket and put in a brand new traditional pocket (I kept the original cat gut sidewall, which was still intact) using Throne of String’s new leathers.

It was my first time fixing up a woodie, but the stick came out great, and throws on a dime. It was so nice that I convinced myself I could shoot a skeet pigeon out of the air… I did come pretty close!

It was a great time mixing family, lacrosse, and some outdoor sport!
