Getting after it this winter!

1) String a stick in the car or subway…
…On the way to the beach or to grandma’s house! If it’s a long trip, string the stick two times or more. Practice makes perfect!

2) Introduce the game to a friend…
….Someone who has never played before. Coaching someone else will help YOUR game improve. Guarantee it!

3) Watch some high level lacrosse…
…The MLL, LXM, WLA, MSL, Can-Am and more all going on right now. There are games on TV, and online. There are elite men’s tourneys in Glastonbury CT, NYC, Vail CO, Saratoga Springs NY, Lake Placid NY, Baltimore, Long Island, Lake Tahoe NV, and EVERYWHERE in between. Find some local lax and go watch and learn!

4) Research the sport…
…Who played the first ever game of lacrosse? (the animals of the air vs the animals of land) Why is it called the Creator’s Game? What college was the first to field a team? Know the game’s history, know the game!

5) Just play!
There is no better way to improve than by playing the game. Simple, tested, true.
