Kitchen recognizes this and most likely realizes that because the defenders aren’t looking at him, they can’t slide, giving him a 1v1 dodge matchup with no defensive help.
He points to his teammate on crease telling him where to go, and that player moves to make room for Kitchen’s dodge. Kitchen tries his luck with a right handed dodge, gets his hands free and scores a beautiful on the run goal.
