CUFLA Champions: Guelph Documentary

The Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) is a really interesting collegiate lacrosse league! It’s not like NCAA lacrosse, in that is is club, but is also the best college field ball being played North of the Border. Jack Hallett, a student at Guelph, followed around the team for the year, and documented the entire season. Now he has put together a 40 minute documentary, and it’s stellar!

Superb High School Lacrosse Video

A three minute highlight tape is better than nothing. Everyone gets to see some big goals and their attention span is not tested to any serious degree. When an 11:00 minute plus highlight comes out, it had better be good, and it had better feature two very good teams.

Goucher stevenson

Welcome back to another crazy installment of the D3 Report! This season has been chock full of upsets, surprise teams, and quick Top 20 risers. Throwback Thursday: USA Vs Canada Box Lacrosse 1985

The year was 1985, and the Philadelphia Spectrum was playing host to the IBLA Exhibition Series between the US and Canada. This series pitted the best US box players against the best that Canada had to offer and the guys on both rosters served as a who’s who of lacrosse in the mid 80s. This event was also called the North American Cup, and was a very cool concept.

Las Vegas Lacrosse Showcase - Goalie Helmet Cam

Any time you ask a broad question, like the one posed in the title of the post, you are bound to get answers that run from one end of the spectrum to the other. Certain situations merit an easy ‘yes’ or a hard ‘no’, while others are seemingly stuck in a grey area of limbo. Where does the technology in sport debate fall on this spectrum? Is this a question we can even answer?
