Johnny Christmas, Lax Santa

Johnny Christmas has dedicated himself to giving the gift of lacrosse through LEAPS, his non-profit program. Recently, he was featured on a local Philadelphia news channel. We’ve got the video after the jump.

Johnny Christmas

Last December, Johnny Christmas announced his intention to sit out the 2009 NLL season in order to focus on the founding of LEAPS, his non-profit program designed to educate kids in inner city Philadelphia about the game of lacrosse and the importance of positive thinking. Since then LEAPS (Lacrosse, Education, Attitude, Perseverance, Success) has grown into an extremely reputable program, providing underprivileged kids with the opportunity to throw on pads and learn life lessons through the sport of lacrosse.

Johnny Christmas is his name, and he’s giving the gift of lacrosse. Coincidence? I think not.
