Since we’re in the middle of Hanukkah, it seemed like a good time to share one of Israel Lacrosse’s photos for Photo of the Week! Here we have some brand new players in Ashkelon, an Israeli city that is home to the Israel Lacrosse Association (ILA) and is the sister city of Baltimore.
Beyond its men’s and women’s national teams, the ILA has done a tremendous job growing the game in Israel by putting sticks into the hands of first time players of all ages and teaching school Physical Education instructors about lacrosse.
