It’s Loyola’s first year in the Patriot League, and they’ve already secured the #1 seed and right to host the semifinals and finals for the league this postseason. Their latest W came over first year program Boston University. The Hounds took a 15-6 win over the Terriers in front of their home crowd fans, as the game was played a the Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore.

Providence Beats Boston U 10-7

Providence College made the short trip up Route 95 to visit Boston University last night, and the host Terriers dropped a 10-7 decision to the visiting Friars. Originally, the game had been scheduled to be played in Providence, but weather forced a change to Boston, and the game was played at Nickerson Field, where the Boston Cannons used to play games.
