In this episode I go 1on1 with Team USA defenseman Tucker Durkin.
A Huntingdon Valley, PA native and product of LaSalle College High School, Durkin went on to play at Johns Hopkins University where he started every game of his collegiate lacrosse career. A 3x All-America selection at Hopkins, Durkin received the William C. Schmeisser Award for being the nation’s top defensemen his senior year.
Durkin was drafted third overall in the 2013 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft. He spent his first pro season with the Hamilton Nationals and now plays for the Florida Launch.
In 2014, Durkin was named Outstanding Defender of the FIL World Championships as a starting defenseman for Team USA. He currently serves as the head men’s lacrosse coach at Bryn Athyn College.
Tune in now to hear Durkin’s lacrosse story!

I hope you enjoy this 1on1 interview with Tucker Durkin!
One of my favorite videos from LaxFilmRoom features Tuck against Lyle Thompson a couple of years ago. The two are now teammates on the Launch, but you can imagine the heat they had back then!
Two incredible players everybody on the field can learn something from…
