The New York Lizards of Major League Lacrosse defeat the Hamilton Nationals 12-10 on Randall’s Island in New York City.
If you haven’t bought a ticket yet, get on it now. This is the second, and last pro field lacrosse game in NYC this season, and if we don’t show, the MLL might not come back for years. If that happens, we have no one to blame but ourselves.
The Chesapeake Bayhawks came in to New York City to take on the New York Lizards, and they absolutely dominated the rain-soaked game, which was the first ever pro field lacrosse contest played at the iconic and historic Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island.
As the season wears on, we’ll see whether New York’s new look team can turn into a dominant force in the MLL. One thing we don’t have to wonder is if can Pannell hack it in the MLL… He’s already given us an emphatic “YES” on that one.
More news is emerging about the re-branding of the Lizards MLL franchise, and we’ve learned that the Lizards will play TWO professional lacrosse games in the Big Apple: New York City!
