This past weekend I was lucky enough to attend, and participate in, my first Brawl in McCall. The Brawl is a fairly small tournament on the beautiful Payette Lake, a few hours north of Boise, Idaho.

Heeyoung Leem, one of the FOGOs on the Team TLN team I played on last weekend, rocked a GoPro in some of our games and got some great footage. The camera falls off right away in the first game, and is picked up by the ref – all hilariously caught on camera. Hee strapped on the GoPro for another game and caught footage of our warmups and some of the game.

Lake Placid Classic: 24 Years of Growth

Established 24 years ago, the Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Tournament has developed a rich history and become one of the premiere lacrosse events in the country. This year’s tournament runs from August 5th until the 11th, and feature boy’s and girl’s scholastic divisions, men’s and women’s open divisions, men’s Masters, Grand Masters, and Super Grand Masters.

If the title of this post alone didn’t intrigue you, I’m not sure what will. This past weekend, I suited up with Team TLN of The Lacrosse Network, and Salisbury long pole Knute Kraus made me look really good after I fed him this ball.

The Oakville Rock took on the Brooklin Redmen on July 24, 2013 in Senior A Major Series Lacrosse action, and the game erupted into a pretty serious brawl, where both teams left their benches after one of the Oakville players (Brendon Niesink) went over to the Brooklin bench and started throwing punches.

Tahoe 2013: Tropics Make It A 3-Peat

Last weekend I played in my first ever Lake Tahoe Lacrosse Tournament, and it was a blast! While my team went 2-2 on the weekend, Krieg’s team advanced to the quarterfinals, losing by one goal to eventual runner-up Dub C. Dub C was taken down by a score of 9-8 in the finals by the Adrenaline Tropics, who’s 2013 title gave the club three Tahoe championships in a row.
