On May 11th, Salisbury took on Penn State for the 2013 NCLL title in Maryland. Penn State won the NCLL D1 title with an 11-7 win over Salisbury, and an 11-2 record overall. Penn State topped Virgina 13-12 in OT in the Elite 8, and then beat Maryland 12-7 in the semifinals. Salisbury finished at 13-5, and beat Rutgers and Cornell to make the final.

In the 70s and early 80s, Morgan State’s lacrosse team was an NCAA Division 1 force, but the school dropped the varsity program. However, over the last couple of years, Morgan State Lacrosse has seen a resurgence, with their club program improving, and the team seeing success in the NCLL.
