Gear Review: Lakota Head by Nike Lacrosse

I got to check out the Nike Lakota head, which has been out for a while and has emerged as a high school favorite, and I was pretty impressed with the product. It’s a really good option for a youth, high school, or post-collegiate player because it’s pretty tough, has a solid price point, and is a charm to string for the most part.

Mikey Stolzenberg Goes Behind The Back

Mikey Stolzenberg’s story took the lacrosse world by storm last year. When people learned there was a 13 year old quadruple amputee playing lacrosse they were impressed. But wider pockets, like a five diamond traditional, or a Jeremy Thompson Replica pocket, can see knots that experience serious slippage. How can you fix the problem of Slipping Knots as the pocket breaks in?

Mann Cup: Game 5 – What Just Happened?

This is easily one of the weirdest and most excellent stories of the Summer… Photo Credit: Gary Woodburn Colin Doyle had a goal and an assist for Six Nations through two periods of Game 5, but with 11 minutes left in the game, both Six Nations goalies had been kicked out for illegal equipment, and Doyle […]

Mann Cup: Chiefs Win 8-3, Tie Series

The Six Nations Chiefs won a pivotal Game 4 on Vancouver Island last night over the Victoria Shamrocks 8-3. The win tied the best of seven series at two gams apiece, and the five goal winning margin is the largest one we’ve seen in the four games so far. It looked like it was going to be another super tight game after a 2-2 first period, but Six Nations came out hot in the second, and pulled away.

Who Has The Best Summer Highlights?

Steele Stanwick, Chris Bocklet, and Brendan Mundorf each posted pretty remarkable numbers and seasons in 2013. The three attackmen each put up some highlight reel goals, assists, and plays as well and the MLL has created short highlight videos featuring Stanwick, Bocklet, and Mundorf. Now we KNOW that all of these guys are legit ballers, but who is the BEST of the best?
